School Resumes - Friday April 9, 2021
New York State Tests Grades 3-8
The New York State Education Department has decided that students will be administered the NYS tests in ELA and Mathematics this year. Students in grades 4 and 8 will be administered the NYS Science Test in June as scheduled.
Only one session of the test will be administered. The test will also only be administered to in-person students.
Parents wishing to return their child to in person must do so by March 31st at the end of the third quarter.

PreK, Kindergarten and First Grades
Mrs. Fundora will be coordinating the annual Summer Program for in-person students beginning July 6th and end Friday August 13th. The hours for the program will be from 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM. Parents who want more information may call the school office at 212-567-3190 and speak to Mr. Guzman or Alba.

Students in the 3K classrooms of Ms. Sanchez and Mr. Taraza's rooms will need to register for PreK For All (4 year old program). Priority is given for those students who are registered at OLQM. Please speak to Ms. McGarry if you have questions. Parents may also ask Mr. Woods questions during drop off in the morning or at pickup in the afternoon

We are happy to welcome the new school nurse to OLQM.
She will be working with the students and checking records.

Parents are requested to send in shopping bags so that students may pack their books before Easter Recess.
All the classrooms will be cleaned and disinfected during the Easter Recess.
