November 29th -Remember that Flu shot is required for attendance in school for all students in PreK and Kindergarten under New York Health Code Article 43.

A set of keys was found with an OLQM hand sanitizer attached by the UPS man.
If they are your keys you may pick them up from Alba. 


New York City Health Department Report

The New York City Health Department was here on 
Thursday November 18th from 10:00 AM until 3:05PM.
The report found OLQM in full compliance with regulations concerning
 Article 43 of the Health Code.
The report also found the measures that in place concerning COVID-19 guidelines are being followed as defined in the our Opening Plan.


Flu Vaccine Required for all students in PreK and Kindergarten
Under New York State and City Health codes all PreK and Kindergarten students are required to have an annual Flu shot by December 1st.
Students will be required to remain at home until proof is provided that your child has received the Flu vaccine.



The Educate gradebook will reopen for parent review on Tuesday November 23rd.
Parents are reminded that they should review their child's grades once a week.


Parents are reminded that the Edgenuity platform is a self paced program that assists students in accelerating at their own pace.  All children in grades K-8 have accounts which they have been working on since Sepotember
Now that we have completed the first quarter and students are familiar with the program students will be graded for their proficiency when they are given class time to complete an activity. The program has components in ELA (English Language Arts) and Mathematics that correlate to a student's NWEA MAP scores.
