 MAP and i-Ready Reports
On Monday June 19th the two reports from the End of the Year Testing by MAP (NWEA) and i-Ready will be sent home.
How to Read the Reports:
i-Ready reports have a band on the test that indicates where your child needed to be to be On Level (light green box).
The bar graph on the report will indicate if your child reached the planned goal for the year. There will also be a placement guide to the left of the bar graph indicating if your child is on level or below level.
i-Ready reports will be sent home in Reading and Mathematics.

MAP Reports in Mathematics, Reading and Language Usage (Grades 1-8) will be attached. The line graph (IN BLUE) indicates your child's growth this year. The MAP testing indicates where your child began in the Fall of 2016, their growth mid-year after the mid-terms and recently at the end of May.
These tests coupled with the New York State Tests (Grades 3-7) results will be used to plan to address your child's areas of growth and/or needs during Data Day in October of 2017.
There will be a signature paper attached to the reports which parents are requested to sign and return to the classroom teacher.
Should parents have questions regarding their child's scores they should feel free to see their child's teacher before school begins this week from 7:45 AM - 8:00 AM or parents may see

Prayer of St. Ephrem

Lord and Master of my life,
do not give me a spirit of laziness or idle curiosity,
 of ambition or empty talk.

Instead, grant to me, your servant,
a spirit of self-control and humility, of patience and love.

Yes, Lord and King, enable me to see my own failings,
and not to judge my brother or sister,
for you are blessed unto the ages of ages.
Amen.
