Progress Reports
Progress reports will be sent home on Friday January 11th.
If there is a sticker attached to your child's
Progress Report please make an appointment with Alba to see
your child's teacher.
Mid- Year Exams
Mid Year exams will be administered to all children
in grades 1-8 on January 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
Material for the exams will be posted by your child's
teacher on their blog by January 14th. Please take the time
to have your child review material for the exams during the
week of January 14th.
The marks on the exams will be posted on the report card and
will be averaged in your child's grade in June by the
Student Information System (SIS).
Parents who have not kept abreast of their child's grades
should see Mr. Woods on Sunday from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
for a new login and password.
Parent Teacher Conferences- January 31st, 2013
Report Cards will be distributed by Fr. Antonio on Thursday January 31st.
Parent Teacher Conferences will be from 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
Please arrange your schedule so that you will be able to meet
with your child's teacher that day.
Make Up Dates for Hurricane Sandy
As you know school was closed for 5 days back in
October-November for Hurricane Sandy.
The makeup dates for these lost days of school are:
1. December 21st--done
2. May 24th
3. June 24th
4. June 25th
5. June 26th
Easter Vacation
As of today Easter Vacation will be March 23rd-April 8th.
That is IF THERE IS NO MAJOR snow storms. As many know OLQM School will only close if Mayor Bloomberg closes New York City schools.
Monday, January 7th
Feast of St. Raymond of Penafort
January calendars will be distributed today.
Map of the Month will be distributed today.
Tuesday, January 8th
Wireless access points will be installed throughout the
school beginning today as part of the upgrading of
Internet access for students and teachers.
Parents are reminded to be careful should they come in
during the day--watch where you are walking and be aware
of any construction material.
Reading Coach will be working with students in grades 1, 4, 6 & 8
Wednesday, January 9th
Mathematics Coach will be working with students in grades 4, 6, & 8.
Friday, January 11th
Project Based Learning on Lent being done by all grades.
Sunday, Janauary 13th
Feast of the Baptism of the Lord
Official end of the Christmas Season.
Communion Class 12:00 noon
Mass for all students 1:00 PM
