Week of February 209, 2017 Announcements

Re-Registration due on TADS
A reminder from the Regional Office - re-registration is due on TADS as explained in the e-mail that was sent to you.
The re-registration fee is $125.00 per student until  February 28th. After that date the re-registration fee rises to $150.00 as explained in the letter from the Manhattan Catholic School Regional office.
This week Brianna or Mrs. Resto will be calling parents that have not re-registered their child(ren).
Parents are reminded that if there are outstanding tuition balances on their accounts that the re-registration will be placed on hold and parents will be required to meet with the Business Manager of the Region before their re-registration is accepted for September.

Tuition Suspension Day March 4, 2017
The Catholic School Regional office has requested that tuition be brought up to date by March 4, 2017. Students will not be permitted to attend class unless prior Payment Plans have been followed by parents.  Notifications of outstanding tuition will be sent home.

MAP (Measures of Academic Performance) Results
The recently administered MAP test results will be sent home with your child in the next week or two. On the report there will a place for an action plan to assist your child in meeting the expectations outlined by the test results.
Children will be meeting with teachers and then the report will be sent home for parent review and signature.

i-Ready performance folders have been set up by all teachers in grades K-8 for students and parents to monitor students progress using the i-Ready program.
i-Ready along with IXL and Achieve 3000 should be used consistently every day especially now in the month before the
NYS ELA tests for students in grades 3-8.
These on-line tools have been shown to increase student success on the          NYS tests and 20 minutes a day in ELA and Math should be monitored by parents at home.
Should students have "misplaced" their logins and passwords parents may see the classroom teacher or Mr. Guzman in the office.

School will be in session on Friday June 2, 2017 to     make up for the day lost when school was              closed for snow.
